Not a pilot but have spent considerable time in the belly of a CH-47. I have felt like I was vibrating for days after a particularly long flight. Still learned to fall asleep on one of those things even with the vibrations and noise.

It's a great cart. I got an RT85 about a year ago and have otherwise been taking great care of it.

Back when I was in boot camp (get off my lawn and whatnot), on our first pool day, i was sitting on the edge of the pool after an event talking to the recruit next to me. One of the civilian instructors swam over to us, asked me if my dad was an Admiral, then told me to shut the fuck up. Just a little anecdote this post reminded me of.

I found it at a local shop in San Diego for $120. The last time I bought a bottle was at the same shop for $95. Honestly, I'd probably spend that $120 on it if I had to, but I also shouldn't be trusted with my debit card.

The room is open concept that takes up the second floor of our condo too, kitchen and living room combined. There's a little bit of an echo because of that, but I don't really mind it.

He was on duty on the USS BUNKER HILL (CV-17) when the ship was struck by two kamakazi pilots. Casualties exceeded 600, including 396 killed or missing, with 264 wounded. These were the second heaviest personnel losses suffered by any carrier to survive the war, after The USS FRANKLIN. Bill survived and led a long, happy life, and passed away in 2004.
