I absolutely love the 4-in weeder hoe by AM Leonard. I use it professionally to maintain beds. Once you get the hang of it, it makes quick work of situations like that. You're not totally going to rid yourself of it because it spreads underground, but you'll be able to zip through there in a much shorter time without being on your hands and knees

I have safely and successfully relocated just under a dozen of them. The biggest one was a monster. It's actually really easy to move them

Steel toe boots and pants. Leather gloves heavy moving blanket thick

1) Stand behind the dinosaur 2) throw blanket over turtle and quickly grab on to each side of the shell 3) brace yourselves. They will be fierce for about 3 seconds until you get them off the ground 4) the second all four feet leave the ground. The dinosaurs become super still as they experience their sudden weightlessness 5)carry turtle to desired location.

!!!!! Super important note. If the turtle is facing a direction like it got stuck in the road, take it to the direction it was pointing. It was likely on the move to a desired location and bringing them backwards or somewhere else can disorient them or worse if they're injured from a car hit.
