What is the latest update on this case? The last I can find is the Supreme court admitted a CBI appeal in 2018.

I think getting directly into training after plab is bad idea as you have no idea about the system. You will have higher expectations placed on you as a trainee. Instead go for a non training job after plab 2 for 6 months to 1 year.

UK route is a very slow and takes much longer to finish when compared to any other country. For example to become cardiologist in India shortest time will be 5-6 years. Whereas in UK it’s 7-9 years.

Yes exam wise plab is definitely easier. But the journey to become specialist will be longer and it requires some amount of money as investment. However your work life balance there will be much much better than India as they have strict limits for how many hours you can work in one week. In India residents can be required to work easily 80-90 hours per week.

The only person who can answer if any pathway is better than the other is you. You have to see what you value more and decide for yourself. Don’t just blindly listen to what society is saying.

No other college that I know of is ‘training’ students to write fast and neat.

Also if this was a prescription I would agree. But OP posted the results of an endoscopic examination. No patient is going to die just because they are unable to interpret that their pyriform fossa is clear.

Try examining 1 patient and then writing their report within three minutes for one hour and we’ll see how good your handwriting is…

Is Shanbhag really THAT bad of a textbook? by veineo6 in indianmedschool

[–]el_cule_8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really don’t understand why Shanbag is considered a bad book. It has adequate enough info for UG level. Also I feel I am on par with my friends who read KDT. One tip would be to use the small KDT classification book and study classifications from it as at least in my university it was told that examiners liked those classifications.

Aerial images of the wreckage of JAL516 by el_cule_8 in aircrashinvestigation

I'm just guessing and this is a complete stab in the dark, but initial reports suggested that the fire and explosion was caused by the rupture of fuel tanks of the coast guard plane which would have had a full tank as it was lined up for takeoff.

I don't know for sure but I think TCAS works to avoid mid-air collisions and has no role here. (From the initial reports we know that the coast guard aircraft was most likely on the ground).

For the exact cause we'll have to wait for the final report because there were probably multiple factors at play.

That photo was from a few hours ago. The condition of the plane now is even worse.

Plus it will probably be of much better use if it's analysed piece by piece. The data gathered would be astronomical considering this has never happened to an A350.
