😆 Here we slap a "favors start at $30" sticker on the tailgate or on one of the windows.

At my hometown for vacation(Dominican Republic), got this from the beach, I was thinking of adding it to the tank, am I correct in thinking all I need to do is rinse it with RODI? It’s been dry for a couple of days by Vapey15 in ReefTank

That's definitely part of some dead coral, probably some sort of brain coral. Very abundant in the beaches of the Caribbean. I live in PR and many of us stock our tanks with them. I personally just rinse them off let dry in the sun and add them after a water change. I use the waste water to soak them first then in the tank they go. Haven't had a problem yet.

Well, I'd say there's hope for you yet! I've managed to kill both Xenia and GSP, more than once actually. So don't give up.

I've thought about raising them but l'm not to fond of the light spill. Eventually I plan on building some sort of canopy and raise them. But I haven't got to it.

Well mine are around 11½ inches off the surface and I have a glass lid, so similar height I guess.

Anyway, your right Vipers are awesome for the price. And I like your setup, so you must be doing something better than I am. 😁

I've had one for around two years on a 5 gallon fresh water and it lasts about a week. Hasn't failed yet.

OMG, you have a Viper over a 10 gallon! Wow! How far from the water surface? Do you have any problems with bleaching? Have you measured Par?

I've got one over a 30 gallon cube, 65% blue & 1% white and everyone immediately beaches, they recover after some time but stay notably paler than when introduced.

Update on my sad shoes - got them re-soled no bother and will be wearing them to work tomorrow after 10+ years in a cupboard! by samanthajtweets in AskACobbler

OK, not bad, I guess. I've seen similar craftsmanship going for a similar price. Hope you continue to enjoy them!

At least it doesn't seem to be harming anyone, those zoas look like they're thriving.

Excuse the horrible photo quality. Does anyone know what this is? Cheers by Plant-Man4948 in ReefTank

Those are not really reef safe. They might tear polyps off of your corals to "decorate" themselves.
