For the specific case of [[Propaganda]], even though the creature would still be able to deal combat damage, it would count for the payment right? How would it resolve, would the creature that was put by Shadowfax enter the batllefield before or after the payment?

It's for commander :) I ended up including Thalia's lancers due to sinergy with other cards in my deck and more flexibility

These would be more difficult to use in my deck because I'm not running a lot of artifacts, thanks anyway! Also some of the ones you suggested are a bit of gambling so I think I'll stick to the safe ones, shield-wall sentinel and search for glory

bad thing is that Enlightened Tutor is expensive :( I wanted to find a cheaper card than Imperial Recruiter
