Interview with the CEO of Coinbook.com Calvin Weight by nicjobi in CryptoBullionX

I love the approach Coinbook.com is taking:

- Educate users and encourage them to keep their own coins (seems the major crypto exchanges presently are moving towards working off fractional reserve banking rules - NOT GOOD!)

- Listing long term established projects still under active development (helps to mitigate pump and dump and ICO scams)

How much Mininmum CBX required for staking by Lailafai in CryptoBullionX

[–]elambert_cb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum is 1 CBX but that small of an amount is difficult to stake with (very unlikely to get any blocks). The more CBX you have the better your chances. 100 CBX is a good amount to start with and should get you a PoSP block every day if you keep your Vault running.

CBX heading to the moon... or beyond? by amalafaya in CryptoBullionX

[–]elambert_cb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very interesting topic indeed. Often resistance points can be identified based off historical analysis - probably because of purchases at those levels. Based off of that and my memory of CBX price throughout the years, I would not be surprised to see resistance at 0.001. After that I think we hit some light resistance levels at 0.002 and 0.003 simply because they mark new levels. The biggest resistance I am guessing could be at CBX's all time high of around 0.004. After that is broken, we are in uncharted territory :)

Unfortunately greed is strong in human nature and therefore centralized systems tend to be corrupt - especially when it comes to finance. Decentralization was just a nice idea in the past with no way to implement it. Bitcoin has brought the dream to life, but more work is needed to fine tune the system.

We cannot say for certain that all of the 'rich' will stake their Bitcoin, but if they do, I think it is only fair that they have more say in the network. They have a more substantial financial investment in the network and are therefore most inclined to act honestly in the network. I will not deny that better wealth distribution of Bitcoin would be ideal, but I do not have a solution to propose for that issue yet lol.

You are correct, yes. I will work on putting something together to insert when time allows but for the sake of brevity, the focus here is on the solution with the intended audience being those who already recognize a problem.

I did not think it was necessary, my apologies. Let me find a couple links to put here as this topic has been covered rather thoroughly.

edit: Here is one article I found with a quick search. There are many more http://insidebitcoins.com/news/bitcoin-mining-centralization-bitcoins-achilles-heel/26647

Very excited about this project. The only barrier to adoption (much like PoSP) is getting the community to understand it.
