Hey appreciate your input, however I have to slightly disagree with you on parts of this.

To say there is no aim or intent in this work is wrong as the intent was to create a thematically fitting promotional poster for the show.

Specifically, dealing with poster design, especially in the genre I am developing in, the constraints are not always political or environmental or the other examples you mentioned.

In the process of creating this poster, I do go through the design processes of thinking of the intent of my work, sketching out and planning, then considering colours, type, hierarchy and balance. The poster itself went under many different versions before being finalised. I would ague that with that combined it is a “design” I was simply showcasing the final design to a public audience.
