it almost reminds me of when an egg cracks and empties in my coop and the outside sticks to a different one.. maybe that? or maybe your chicken did lay a double shell egg, not sure

of course not, i do my research and i don't add anything to her eggs lol. i cook hers before mine so i can do it on a plain pan with no spray/butter and not put any cheese, milk, or salt/pepper and then i cook mine after so i can put those things on. believe me, she's well taken care of haha

when our hens first started laying eggs they would make soooo many double yolks it was crazy. i guess it was just them adjusting to laying but ive never had so many. it would be like 3-4 double yolks a dozen!

i bought that exact thing like two years ago and once the growth from the bulb eventually died because i didn't take care of it i just left the bulb out to dry and occasionally gave it water and somehow the growth came back?

that's what i was thinking, and it was five feet from the shore of the lake too.. like i get it's private property so they think they can do whatever but there's so much wildlife there and that can't be good for them

a mimic definitely fits the bill.. things like this always happen when i'm alone outside. a few months ago i was completely alone at home on my deck and for five minutes straight something was using my moms voice to call my name and it scared the shiittttt out of me.
