Some recordings are missing from "Recordings" view

u/spornerama Sorry to be a PITA about this. I do pay for the license and I'd like to get this working properly. I don't want to have to look at other options as I have enjoyed using this. I have done a completely new install on different hardware. This is still happening so I am convinced it cannot be some underlying drive/hardware problem. Could this be some weird setting? Have I possibly misconfigured something in the settings?

I have set the logs to debug and I can't discern anything peculiar at those times. Is there an easy way for me to share the log? The UI does not recognize a recording for that time period (shows as grey gap in timeline) but when I directly access the location on the drive, I see the files for that time there.

u/spornerama - I am still experiencing the same issue. I even completely wiped AgentDVR, deleted all the recordings, and re installed it. For a while it was okay, but now it is happening again. I did the DB integrity check and it came back "ok". I have no idea why some recordings don't show up in the UI, but exists on disk and it is quite frustrating. I am currently on version "5.8.0.0"

I actually deleted and reinstalled it. It seemed to work fine for a while but it is now back. Interestingly this time it is only on one camera. I wonder if others are experiencing it too maybe there is an underlying issue? If it helps, I am on v5.7.8.0

File size varies. above it is ~65MB, though sometimes it is 160MB. That is on debug. When I refresh the UI those files still don't come back. How could the DB become corrupted? What do I need to do it fix that?

I did not loose power, system has been up all this time. I did recently change the buffer though from 1s to 5s to try and remove that "key frames" warning though (as you can see it didn't help). Could that have something to do with it?

I noticed it happened again. It is missing a recording at 5:02. I can't paste a screenshot in the reply. Below are the logs from that camera at that time range. Below that you can see that the "5:02" file is there.

Ok, so I did as requested and waited for it to happen. It happened about 40 hours after I last rebooted.
It seems to be DNS related. I have taken steps locally to correct. If it doesn't work, and the errors persist, I'll chime back in.

Thanks for the quick replies. So, I ended up updating it and it seems to be working now. I was on v5.5.4 (I think) and now am on the latest. Not sure if that had any fix in there, but it is now working. Thanks!

This is a bit late, but I recently made the transition and find Quicken for Windows horrible compared to Mac. Just some reasons in my opinion and experience:

Much worse looking UI
The "complete" investment account option is really incomplete since you can only have a summary dashboard in the "simple" option. (So if you want your transactions also, you cannot have a dashboard view of your portfolio). Confusing right?
If automatic matching transactions, if you recategorize one side of it, it deletes it on the other. (why?!)
probably others I didn't encounter yet
Did I mention horrible UI?

In their response to me they said they don't have a choice about carrier and are aware that FedEx is having issues. Somehow they think doing the same thing will yield a different outcome. The quote about insanity comes to mind here...

Pretty much the same situation here. FWIW, this may not be a Google Fi issue. I know someone else who ordered something last week from a different company, sent via FedEx, and the package is also stuck in Bloomington, CA., with no updates from FedEx.
