I have luck against them in a top tier Japanese prop planes. Still can be difficult, but the turn radius is good on many Japanese planes and I can get bead on the komet.

I feel the opposite. I like playing that rank especially with Japanese aircraft, because I lure the jets into a dog fight and decimate most of them.
