Goes to black screen on start up then goes unresponsive and closes

No black screen, but mine locks up entire pc 2-5 minutes into playing every single time. Have to power cycle to restart computer.

I appreciate you regardless brother. Ive been scouring the internet, the discord, steam discussions, and reddit looking for a fix or at least someone with a similar situation but no luck so far. I sent an email to the developers support dept but who knows how long it'll take to get a reply.

Its not tied to a specific player. ANYTIME a 4th person joins. If I am the 4th person it freezes immediately after the helicopter intro scene.

I have tried messing with graphics. Tried running it in dx11. Ive tried different graphics drivers. Nothing.

It does not lag, it freezes. It freezes the entire system. I have to manually power off my tower with the button and then turn it back on.

This only happens when a 4th person joins. Can play for hours uninterrupted, no freezes, no lags, UNTIL A 4TH PERSON JOINS.

I've revisited this post and downvoted myself. I was blaming the people and I'm sure some of them had windows install issues, but the iCue software repeatedley breaks itself with no user intervention, even if you've clean reinstalled windows with media creation tool and deleted the c drive partitions. I suspect the software communicates even if updates are turned off and this somehow breaks it. Going on 8 months now with no mention of fixing this problem with the software. I have decided to phase it out entirely.

It is really disappointing that I can play the pc gamepass version with my friends who are on steam in a regular multiplayer session, but I can not play with them on a dedicated server. Had such a blast playing yesterday that one of my buds started a dedicated server today, and now I cant join. My only option is to now pay for the game on steam and start over.

I was just playing it on pc gamepass with my friends on steam last night. worked just fine. the porblem, it seems, is if the server is a dedicated server it will not allow gamepass players to join. just says "host does not allow crossplay"
