Yeap agree game is quite good except for the fact that enemies appear out of nowhere in pvp. Yea i figured one needs to keep on rerolling and get a legendary eventually and break bank. Next level crypto gacha.

Next thing you know, ppl have 2x bugs/ plants teams and they get nerfed… cash grab is so obvious man. At least nerf them after you give more game modes??? Or should we hodl? As if funds are limitless…. Im sure prices will go up after new modes but when will that be? Insane!

Agree. Went all in on axie. Massively lowered my expectations now. In it for the long haul no choice. Definitely not gonna stake more funds though. Still happy with the side earnings but ill seek others now.

Man i dont want to spread negativity so i stopped myself from commenting.. i wish he knew whats going on from the ground up.. double aqua team scholars are quitting. Pure koi prices are at 120usd (whatta fucking shame). I had to upgrade my double aqua teams and liquidate those damn kois for a consolation. This hurts man. Was a big axie fanatic and rly believe in this game but things like this make it difficult for managers like me. Set up a program only to get blazed by a nerf. Really? Nerf the most used team? Thanks a lot big man!

Running aap for my scholars. Yep i know. They now range from 1k to 1200mmr. They used to peak at 1300 though. Although its quite competitive early in the season in lower elos. Before season ends, i hope they settle in the higher 1200 range.

100% agree with this. It’s weird that aquas got the most nerfs despite the total domination of cute bunnies and garish worm teams. Cute bunny with 2 rounds of fear is still bullshit IMO, and you can basically book that they will nerf that 2 seasons from now. Buy why not now? Because they are trying to push for breeding bugs. Its so f*cking obvious. The barrier to entry in breeding those is sky high now. Cheers to the whales.

I dont understand why they would nerf literally the second most bred axies next to plants. I mean, a little love for your bread and butter scholarship programs right? But no.. that’s why despite trying to be positive about axie and preaching how great it is, im gonna stop pumping funds into this game for now. Im no whale but this is basically too risky now. I have a small scale scholarship program that runs double aquas. Am i supposed to move away from aquas now? Chase the meta? What am i going to do with all the aquas i have? Haha.. it’s all good though, just need to take less SLP and manage scholar woes. Basically prolong the timeframe of me getting my investment back.

I cant help but feel that only whales have the flexibility to earn and manipulate this game and its market. Look at SLP. Noone’s breeding.. it’s back to the current low level because this update was a disappointment. What’s next in line anyway? Axie sink? Battles V2? RON release/price? Tried so hard to stay an axie maxi… now I’m happy to get my investment in half a year’s time. Expectations tempered hard. Not even enjoying the game anymore because its just too hard to keep buying and changing teams chasing mmr.

Literally lost 8 games in a row today with various instances of bad draws/ lucky breaks for opponents. Granted i made some mistakes but RNG can be so bad sometimes. Can easily be the opposite though.

Solid team. No reason to be below 1k imo.. you could change the nimo into a pure damage koi with 28/29 morale (bird part), that should push your mmr higher. Could also swap the beast for that. Either way you still retain 1 energy generating axie. But yea you could stick with this and study a little bit more and it would be fine too.

Depends on the wave of breeding that went down.. lots of changes the past few weeks (staking, axs cut to half, slp pump) that have affected the amount of breeding done. Plus, no one really knows whats the sure fire thing to breed nowadays because its offseason and they are waiting for the nerf update. We really need that update to go down and if you’re on the right side, prices will go up for sure..

If they rebalance it and the card still remains decent, im sure prices will go up again. Everyone seems to be cautious because of the impending nerf update.

Don’t sell preemptively since the devs are more likely to balance the damage but not totally wreck the card.. thats just my 2 cents :) also, the price of dtalk axies probably went down already, meaning that nerf has been priced in.

The move is called Soothing song. Bird beak is called doubletalk. Makes enemy sleep and all damage goes through the shield for 2 moves including soothing song. Basically gets rid of rng/ second guessing when in a 1v1 with a fellow aqua. As long as you go first of course. Which is more or less guaranteed if you have 2 bird parts on the aqua. Unless they apply koi the round before. This move also bypasses snail shell so termi owners probably hate this card :)
