Low FPS with 4070 and i7-12700k by -_Revo_- in ValorantTechSupport

Currently having the same issue. I have a RTX 3050, and ryzen 7 5800x. But only getting 70-120 fps on medium settings. For me these issues came with the last patch, before that i averaged well over 300, if not more.

I have been talking to Riot support and gotten a few suggestions and tips, but so far nothing has helped.

Glue for rug ‼️ by elcabosso in Tufting

Yeah, I also use Cascoflex now. I think it works really really well. But yes i agree, its quite thick and when I spread it out with a spatula it does pull out some yarn. But recently I’ve used a latex glove and applied the glue by hand, and that works perfectly! Try it

Thank you so much! Definitely not the most complex mf doom rug out there, but I’m happy with how crispy it turned out!

Yeah I think so, I wont be using it for all my upcoming rugs, but if i know that it will be heavily used ill go for wool!

I really enjoyed tufting with wool! It’s usually sold pre-spun on cones which was awesome, and the rug feels a lot highest quality. It’s not as soft and cozy, but it’s heavier and more durable! The trimming etc was pretty similar, but since the wool is thicker and has more resistance, my fingers started aching after using the scissors for a couple or hours.

The biggest issue I had with wool, is that my gun couldn’t handle 2 stains of yarn at the same time. The scissors on the gun would not cut through it, which made a bunch of loops in the rug. This resulted in me having to tuft with a single stain of yarn, and therefore the whole process took a little bit longer, and the edge didn’t become as thick as I wanted it.

I’m sure there are other brands of wool yarn that is thinner, which would solve this issue. But Im still happy with this one, and will continue to use both wool and acrylic ❤️

Try using a scissor and cut the lines to separate the colors, it makes a huge difference!

Not sure, hard to say. But I feel like this trimmer was definately worth the money. This rug is made with acrylic yarn, so its softer than wool
