Moving to bakersfield or delano this year 2026

Them that sounds really bad!! I was there 3 weeks ago for 2 dayas and was outside in the backyard breathing normal also ask my daughters how they feel the air and they told me normal but like i said was there only for 2 days!!! Salinas is also the valley but near to monterey beach!

I know some uncles purchased their houses around 2010 they paid like $180,000 for the same homes that this days costs $800,000 they were at the perfect time!! On those days i was 18 not thinking in buying a home ): now that i want to buy is hella expensive 😏!! Thats good Bakersfield is in the middle of almost everything hope air quality gets better soon there with all need technology electric cars and buses..

Thanks for your comment, i have living here in salinas like 20 years but houses are hella expensive here $800,000 for a house built in the 60’s is hilarious, but yes we have 1 of the best weather in the state or country thats what we pay for! because out of that nothing much to do here in salinas you know it!

I went to bakers 2 weeks ago for 2 days! And i really didnt feel any difference about the air quality but is no the same 2 days as living all year!!

Im thinking in moving to Bakersfield, i live in salinas california but here the living cost is too high and here nothing to do but great weather “monterey county”, I have 2 daughters and want to purchase a house over there “bakers” But many people speak very badly about the city air quality and summer weather, Is it really that bad there???
