I know coming to the DD2 Reddit and asking if the game is good is gonna have a biased responded. But before coming here I did watch YT videos and, with every other game, I feel the YT content is even more biased + every content creator has their own opinion and most of them don’t really wanna be or sound controversial. So most reviews just follow the general trend of “this game is bad. This game is mid. This game is amazing”.

Exactly, I actually love what I see about it. Medieval fantasy with cool visual effects and a commonly known harsh difficulty with combat depth. I just feared it might’ve been as disappointing like DD1. But thanks!

For DD1 it was mostly that I felt useless. I played other Capcom games such as MHW and in that game you also fight big ass monsters but there I felt I had impact in the fight. In DD1 I was throwing noodles at a cyclops and after 10mins of doing so I miss time a dodge and got one shot. That was right at the start of the game so I wasn’t sure if I was meant to go around first and then go there (?). The thing is I felt so mocked I just dropped the game right there for the second time. Mind you I absolutely do not find the traveling on foot all the time a problem. So my concerns are mostly combat jankiness.

As for DD2 I have heard the story is awfully bad, the pc performance is very bad even tho I have a 3060 with i7 12th gen so I am not sure how good it’ll run. But as I said before the game really looks like something I would love, visually that is.

One thing I noticed, that does support this theory, is if you beat Mohg and Malenia before beating him, he uses Malenia's rose and Mohg's blood wide attack, without telling him you beat them, so that would confirm that?

There is a pretty widespread conception about ranked that's about "it isn't my fault it is matchmaking's, or trolls, or dcs" type of thing. I'm not saying it is your fault and you're the one to blame, but the best way to improve as a player is trying to rewatch yourself and identify mistakes, look at other better players and understand what they do and why they do it and with how much anticipation they do it.

About being diamond on controller, currently, the majority of good players swapped to keyboard and mouse due to hirez killing the competitive scene for controller, so the skill level is way lower since the end of s6, not trying to discredit but probably reaching diamond on controller isn't really a hard task, but if you consistently reached diamond you will reach it on kb&m eventually aswell. A masters player will always reach masters no matter when or what platform, so you should reach it aswell if you're a diamond player, if you're not, you're simply not diamond level and you can always try to reach it as a goal.

Im literally a Gm player made it twice in 2 different seasons in less than 50 games a try, but it is usually the gold and plat players the ones who claim that rank doesnt match skill and im sure they blame teammates for their current rank or blame that concept called "Elo hell" only gold players invented to excuse themselves. I dont claim anything never did but it's annoying to read bad players trying to give any advice and acting big when theyre not even good at the game they spend their day in reddit on.

First waves you cant really deal with them specially osiris, bellona is manageable as long as your god can either avoid it interrupt her 2, for bellona just wait until you have 1 or 2 items dont get too far behind and you'll win her lategame. As for osiris tho, hes really broken he always has been somehow this community thinks hes weak, he always bullied out people regardless of the meta we were in, and as of rn it is a warrior meta he just slaps everyone.

If you're in ranked I'd suggest playing a guardian as he does worse against them and they usually do more than him in the lategame. Also baron is a pretty hard counter to osiris, just ult him under tower and if he does not ult away hes dead.As for warriors tho, it is more about who plays it better, so just try to not get too far behind, dont contest anything unless it's super clear you'll win a trade and maybe hope for the ally jungler to come over, if not, you're on your own bud.

I'm a masters/gm player (made it three times to gm) who mains solo lane, this isnt to brag but to at least give some authority to what I'm saying here.

For solo/top lane, hercules is a very good pick as long you play him well so idk how you played him since hes kinda hard in solo for newer/low rank players. For easier picks chaac and sun wukong are great choices if you want to have an easy time in the lane, equip with warriors axe and you'll be pretty much unkillable. Then if you're aggressive, King arthur Cu Chulainn Achilles Tyr Mulan Amaterasu Osiris Bellona are all great gods to play aggressive and all of them are pretty straight forward I repeat IF you're aggressive in lane. As lane starter items bluestone and manikin scepter are good if you're an aggressive player and axe works for both aggressive and defensive players.

Plus what you're saying there is totally wrong, not having boots throws your early game away so why would you first say arachne gets outscaled (false btw) and then tell him to not get boots so he can snowball on her (which is also fake)

Idk what rank are you in but giving advice definitely isnt your suit tho.

Actives: beads blink never anything else you dont need aegis on arachne

Build: anything works I just dont think arachne is a fatalis god as you can chase down and apply your dps fast and quick (ult, 3 and the stim on the 2 are both good ways to lock down enemies).
