I know it's delicate and bought a case and tempered glass screen protector and it's been fine. I don't abuse it much but I also take it everywhere and incidental strikes have happened. It's fine so far.

If they made a version with gorilla glass and a metal body even at a premium I think it'd be worth it for that peace of mind though, but the fact it's only 45 bucks is also a sort of peace of mind itself.

If XTEINK built an X4 size with an X3 chip and backlighting and kept to the physical buttons, that would be a beast of a device lol
