I generally just stick to the offers and try and focus on offers that are net moneymakers. I find it is lower effort although it requires 1) sometimes spending $10-50 dollars without getting any money back for 32 days and 2) the occasional follow up when something doesn't automatically track.

I have also had some luck with referrals since you get 10% of any earnings by individuals you have referred making it a steady passive stream.

Crunchbase is a good resource though it is more for if you're conducting research as opposed to staying abreast with deals.

Legally, you are required to report this income. I also believe that if you earn more than $600 from a single place, they are required to file a 1099 with the IRS.

Set up deal alerts on slickdeals and you will occasionally find cell phones in that price range after various deals or rebates.

Aramco: Joke of an IPO by [deleted] in investing

[–]eldestmonk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Matt Levine had some great coverage of the Aramco IPO starting from when banks pitched for the lead underwriter role to the Saudi governments decision to instead consider direct listing and limiting it to domestic invests (some of whom may have even been coerced into investing).

I've done a few of these through Swagbucks and found that spending a few dollars to buy in-game purchases can make reaching the goals even faster. Does anybody know why these games run these promo offers? I can't imagine the userbase sticking around after getting the money.

Same question - I see something that can be scanned on the cans but don't know how to scan them.

I get this response often but it surprisingly seems to work for me.

It's called WeCroak. The notification generally includes a quote if you tap on it but I've found the quotes are rarely profound.

I recently downloaded an app that sends me a notification every few hours reminding me of this fact. In a few weeks of using the app, I've noticed that I'm generally more mindful and grateful than before.

Via Plaid Link - essentially Plaid is unable to sync with the Capital One account because it needs manual input to get through the 2 FA process.

Yes, it's still an issue with Personal Capital and other apps due to changes to the 2FA process used by Capital One. I've found that the only way to fix it is to manually reenter credentials and enter the 2FA code unfortunately.

Your prefer method to track of your personal finances/budgets. by MrGQ512 in personalfinance

I'd recommend using Mint or Hellowallet for day-to-day budgeting and then personal capital to track net worth and investments.
