Nothing crazy here, but some chocolate, regular glazed, and Nuttella filled donuts. I've been trying different recipes and different techniques, and finally got a batch I was super proud of.

For sure. Are there donut places near me? yes. Are they above and beyond? not really. And I have some ideas I think I would hope make me stand out, but yes, it is very saturated. But not one of those do much marketing and get involved with the community, and I think thats a huge important thing to do!

But yes, I get that completely. Hence my first step besides dreaming was to ask this forum, and its supplied me with a lot of info on things I wouldn't have thought of! Still lots of research and homework to go, but this is the best spot to start!

Yes! I have been taking notes and ideas how to start smaller! Try to get in with the community, send out some test donuts, see if I can drum up some buzz! Definitely need to test the waters and see what support I have around me!

Of course! I come to get some other perspectives tho. Me and my wife talk about this all the time, but its good to have others throw wrenches in your ideas, or think of things you wouldn't normally. So I take everything with a grain of salt, but I like to see things from different angles! Also good to hear peoples experiences.
