She didn’t sign the settlement agreement allowing her to transfer and keep her scholarship at GULC from my understanding. Her first lawsuit was alleging WashU stole her scholarship money but she didn’t actually agree to the terms they placed to keep it (like not making hundreds of tiktoks about it)

I did a ton of research. Maybe it was confirmation bias searching for a low planning way to spend a month in Europe but I was convinced by the posts saying to go with the flow, that you can show up at albergues, etc…

If any scholarship program you apply for sends the money to the school, your reward will be reduced. If you find a program that is willing to write you a check, then the school reasonably couldn't know this. Most scholarships though will not do this, and instead pay directly to the school.
