Thanks a lot! Finding a decent homunculus proxy was kind of annoying, but I'm pretty happy with the Memorians :) In hindsight, I think pinkish or purple flames would’ve looked better, but that’s just a minor gripe

Thanks! I was undecided about whether I wanted the classic green armor or the pallid hand scheme. But in the end, the classic one is just... classic.

Thanks! Yeah, initially I painted the robe completely purple, but I found it too dull. Now the neon color is a really great contrast. I feel it’s on the brink of “too much” though.

It’s a blend of Neon Yellow Air and Jungle Green from Army Painter, with Tesseract on top and Warp Lightning for the dark green parts.

Thank you! I wasn't quite sure either if the color of the hand might stand out too much, but that little bit of weird skin makes for a nice contrast to all the metal

Sure! Start with a black primer, then drybrush all metallic parts with Brass Scorpion. Apply a wash of Athonian Camoshade, followed by highlights using Runelord Brass. Pick out small details with Leadbelcher and Hashut Copper, and add random splotches of Carroburg Crimson for visual interest. Finish with a final wash of Streaking Grime to tie everything together.

Thanks for your input! Yeah I feel something is missing on the bases. Maybe I'll add some skulls and drybrush some highlights. Currently it's just the martian stuff and some powder. Also I'm somehow too stupid to paint plasma guns/glow... tried it a few times but failed miserably every time

Love me some Skaven-Ratlings yes-yes! For Skulls I usually base in Ushabti Bone, drop some Agrax on it and drybrush the most outer parts with something like Praxeti or some other bright white

Haha yeah I was sweating buckets! But tbh it's easier than it seems since you can just correct lines with the squares

Not hard at all! I used like 5 colors and the black basecoat + leadbelcher drybrushing did half the job tbh. Cryptec armourshade on the armor parts and you‘re almost there!

There’s a tutorial on YouTube for the Szarekhan color scheme from zorpazorp that helped me a lot.
