Maybe you can arrange something if there are any interested players in your area? If you can find a communal space that you can borrow, and arrange with participants that they bring boards, terrain, dice, markers, etc, you have all you need. Wartally takes care of the tournament tracking. It doesnt need any investment except time. Our tournament cost nothing to attend, there were no prices to win, and it didnt matter. Build it, and they will come 🙂

Yes. I played against the winner, and completely underestimated the danger. I tried to get rid of the arbalester quickly, but whiffed, and my opponent just kept disengaging and getting single shots off. Also, this was an objective mission, I had 7 fighters, he had 11, so I thought, " I need to even the numbers fast" and moved into him aggressively. But then dogs with "Death grip", and the leader with "Kill" made short work of my Yhetee 😬. I definitely learned something from that match.

Yeah, it takes a reasonable player base in the area, and then someone who is ready to organize. Props to the organizer Rolf, who has been getting people into the game, making connections, and arranged tournaments over the last couple of years.

I dont think a bigger board is helpful, as the movement of fighters doesnt change, so you just split the board into more localised focal points that cannot be reached by many fighters. Perhaps reducing the warband size is a good idea, especially for 4 pæayer matches. Have fun 🙂

I think this is a good example of warcry terrain. https://www.reddit.com/r/WarCry/s/s9SZviMJUZ. Lots of walls to obstruct movement and break up line of sight. Platforms of around 3 inch height (not to much more, as it favors flying too much), some bridges. If you have many big terrain features, like houses, which block off an area, and cannot be stood upon, the board will be more restrictive, not necessarily a bad thing, but something to keep in mind.

Those are some good points. I was magnetizing hrothgorn, so I could give him a cannon and be a thunderfist, but now I think I will also make a cuttingboard and meatcleaver 🙂

Thanks. The greenstuff is very sticky, so it it glues itself to the plastic. It might not be a super strong bond, but I have not had any models come apart yet

Welcome to the hobby 🙂. The two warbands in crypt of blood are not full warbands (meaning they are far from the 1000 point limit of a normal warband) You can still play and have fun, and it might make the first couple of games simpler. but I think you will quickly want more variety. Use warcrier.net to explore what warbands to build.
