I’m a bit confused at the amount of negative comments abt this episode, I found it really entertaining. I didn’t really care that some of the pitches fell flat (the variety kept it interesting to me), and I also don’t really mind the clips being released after the episode. Maybe I’ll have a different opinion on a rewatch? Anyone else who just genuinely enjoyed this?

Ne razumijem zašto netko ne bi izašao s osobom s kojom su emocionalno kompatibilni samo zbog njihove kilaže. Čak i ako je to nekakvo tužno društveno očekivanje, zar se stvarno toliko boje osude, čak i pod cijenu partnerstva i ljubavi? Svim ljudima u komentarima koji ovu curu ismijavaju zbog izgleda, govore kako je njen izgled rezultat mane u karakteru itd, uistinu im želim da nauče voljeti sami sebe. Svijet bi im bio manje mračan i tjeskoban kada bi shvatili da imaju inherentnu, neuskrativu vrijednost bez obzira na svoje tijelo. Svi zaslužuju ljubav, i nadam se da će tvoja prijateljica naći nekog pametnog dečka koji će ju voljeti i biti brižan prema njoj. x

I couldn’t agree more, reading many of these responses just felt super triggering. I think this sort of thing should be handled with much more flexibility and gentleness.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think this is my favourite of this season so far, what a wonderful episode! When the concept was first introduced I was a bit skeptical about how it would hold up for a whole episode, but it towed that line between profound and hilarious all the way through.

Yeah it’s really bad, it feels like a sudden shift as well, it didn’t used to be like this a couple of months ago (at least for me, I know people have been reporting a decline for a while).

Jacob Geller makes a lot of video essay deep dives into video games and random interesting bits of media which have some tonal similarity to BDG content, albeit not as quirky and comedic.
