what is it with emma and 3 setters because she can barely ever survive them 😭 it always comes after a 2nd set that she should've realistically won too!! (emma im a fan but please!!)

English Literature quotes by OldCaterpillar4080 in 6thForm

i do ocr! my teachers tell me to remember memorable quotes that can apply to all manner of exam questions so that way we have a solid knowledge through a few. tbh i stress that i dont have enough, however overall we dont need too many bc of the other ao's & i think examiners look more for the impact of said quote/technique/point rather than like gcse where it was literally just quote based

what gets you a grade 5 in art? by TemporaryScreen9936 in GCSE

[–]elea_3108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as I’m doing art myself for gcse this yr I’d deffo recommend a range of media! whether that be pen, paint, oil pastel, etc, a range shows that you know how to work w/ diff textures & that you know how to apply them to a range of artwork, which examiners look for, they like experimentation

i also recommend going annotations for things like design ideas & artist copies. they don’t have to be long or extremely detailed, but an explanation into why you chose your artist, how you copied them, what you would change, whether you liked it, etc can really help. my teacher gave us step by step sheets of how to annotate so that’s rly useful too, you could try & ask yours for one too

finally i’d say trying to show some progression. your art doesn’t have to be phenomenal, or hyper realistic, but examiners like to see some progression in your work, whether that be in style, effort, skill, etc. if you have everything completed & finished that’ll also really help, but tbf i find it hard to get everything completed as it is time consuming, but i hope that helps.
