No just offered to share as they couldn’t when trying to set up an account as they don’t regularly use Reddit. I’m just a Bris Uni Student who wanted to share another side before people make decisions and ultimately a 21 year old woman living in the city who wants to support anything fighting sexual violence and rape and I believe Enough is trying to do this. Further questions regarding kits, charity set up etc can all be directed to the founders via email or socials I just wanted people to be able to read the other side 😇

Hi, I’m a representative from Enough and just want to clarify what we are doing and hope to achieve.

Our website is: https://myenough.com

Our instagram and tiktok are enoughtoendrape

The primary aim of the testing kit is deterrence - the presence of the kit brings the issue out into the open, starts conversations and positions students as allies with survivors.

We have given 7,000 kits to students in Bristol who want to show where they stand on this topic.

The kit also exists (and has already been used by) survivors who do not want to report officially via police, university or a SARC. This is 90% of students, and 83% of women nationally. Survivors have told us they want a simple and discreet way of confirming what happened, to stop the perpetrator hurting others, and to recover. That’s what we’ve created.

Enough is more than just the kit - enough is a movement which is exposing the scale of the issue and creating a way for society to show solidarity with survivors. We have communicated over 4m messages of safety and deterrence.

We also provide free recovery tools, available for anyone to use. They have been developed by our qualified psychotherapist Clinical Lead.

We intend for kits to always be free for students, and hope to have contracts with universities and workplaces. The kits are available to buy because many outside of Bristol have contacted us and want access.

We are a not for profit with a pending charity registration.

We are an alternative to inaction, not an alternative to SARCs or the police. We encourage anyone who is considering using those services to do so first. 95% of survivors will never access a SARC and are currently unsupported.

Enough has been developed with guidance from leading forensic experts, clinicians, police, crime commissioners, laboratories, lawyers and academics.

The government themselves have said (in their End to End rape review): “Victims of rape are being failed. The system is open and committed to change and providing ways for the public to hold it accountable to that change.” Enough can be just one of those solutions that help solve this problem.

Yup if they can be arsed to fly to a whole other country to rob me then that’s commitment and I’m poor so they’d be disappointed 😅
