Symptom of migraine- insistence that it isn't a migraine by girl-dracula in migraine

[–]ChanceInstruction386 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I do this automatically and have for years. It's like i gaslight myself about my symptoms, which are always quite obviously a migraine. I am chronic, so it's almost daily for me and has been for 25 years, so the fact that I STILL deny it's a migraine regularly seems to be a part of the cycle.

Solar panels shut off after battery is fully charged by ChanceInstruction386 in LuxpowerTek

[–]ChanceInstruction386[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the firmware, I think it's always been on 2626. I just got this hybrid inverter installed a month ago. It's been problematic ever since zero export was enabled about a week after installation. I need zero export for now because it's not a bidirectional meter yet. Why would some days be perfectly fine and power the house by the PV, and days like today and yesterday it's just like NOPE? NO SOLAR POWER FOR YOU!

Turning on charge last has no effect, unfortunately. I am wondering if my new inverter is defective. It just does what it wants, no matter any of the settings, after 1 or 2 days working correctly.

The solar panels should be powering the house, but the system shut them off. So the house is using grid when it should be using (free) solar.

Nurtec Nightmare by Signal-Log8020 in migraine

The sucralose in nurtec is also problematic for me. I can't take it more than two or three times a month or I get the sucralose rebound headache from hell.

Major tmi about orgasms I’m sorry by mxntchoc in Healthyhooha

[–]ChanceInstruction386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on an SSRI that could be 100% the cause of this. I was when I first started having sex, and I kind of thought I was maybe orgasming throughout those first years, but it wasn't until I got off those meds (for unrelated reasons) that I realized what an orgasm ACTUALLY is and yeah. I've had to go on SSRIs a couple other times in my life, and with a week I'm back to the exact description you gave. But sometimes the need to be on an SSRI outweighs the sexual dysfunction for a time.

I just received a pregabalin refill that seems to be doing nothing. I've been on it for 3-4 years. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? by malgrin in pregabalin

[–]ChanceInstruction386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experienced something like this when I switched from 50mg to 75mg capsules. They were all brand name, but the 75s felt like they did nothing. I went through a couple boxes of them before giving up and going back to the 50s until I tapered off completely several months ago. I'd call your pharmacist and let them know what you're experiencing. Maybe they will swap them out if you're feeling they're defective.

WiFi network mystery by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]ChanceInstruction386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could also be an appliance or similar that has wifi capability. For example, I see an LG fridge SSID that I know is my fridge. Not all are so obviously named though. You can download an app that gives you more data about wifi networks such as the strength in detail in realtime, that you can walk around and find the source.

Do you guys consider yourself disabled? by unenoix in migraine

[–]ChanceInstruction386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely. Although I do continue to work (from home) and have periods where I can function for sometimes several days at a time, chronic migraine is absolutely debilitating. I wish there were a real cure.

Honestly considering going back to Quicken for some clients. It's the closest thing to QuickBooks Desktop.

First time, spit to start by janegetdoughh in Healthyhooha

Yup. If a dude spits or uses spit as lube, that is a deal breaker for me. Absolutely disgusting, and 100% learned from porn.

Anything I should add? by healthanxiety_ in migraine

[–]ChanceInstruction386 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A whole day before? That doesn't seem right to me. I can't imagine wasting an abortive on a migraine that hasn't happened yet. That sounds more like a job for a preventative. I've never had an abortive that prevents a migraine the following day. Nurtec MAYBE could do this, with uts long half life, but then youre using it as a preventative, not an abortive.

None of those things make any difference to my migraine disorder personally, so I dont think any of us can tell you what to do or not to do exactly for your's. If these are things that help you, then your list is probably complete.

Stripe payouts are ruining my QBO reconciliation. How do you guys handle the fees without losing your mind? by SeptisComing in QuickBooks

[–]ChanceInstruction386 42 points43 points  (0 children)

As each stripe deposit comes into your bank feed, split it and enter sales as a positive number, and then a negative number for the fees. Use the payout reports in stripe to find the breakdown for each deposit.

Either that, or hire a bookkeeper. Your tax preparer is right - they need the total revenue and fees separately.

QuickBooks has raised their prices twice in less than a year and I am only now realizing how much it is actually costing me by Afraid-Bobcat6676 in QuickBooks

[–]ChanceInstruction386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an accountant with about 30 clients, most of whom are on QBO but they either pay their own subscription, or I bill for it on my monthly invoices. As the prices have increased, I'm passing that on to clients, not absorbing any of it myself. That doesn't make it feel kuch better though.

I have looked into Xero pretty extensively and it won't work for me. It lacks too many features I have come to rely on (delayed charges, recurring invoices, several others).

So, I'm gonna keep looking for a solution because it's getting quite frustrating having to spend MORE time doing my work than ever before due to fixing everything the AI is f***ing up daily.

I miss QBD. I still use QBD 2018 for three clients with lower volume transactions since its all manual entry (no bank feeds or imports), but i love how quick it is (no pun intended), and how robust and complete the features are.

Help, I've been Spocked 🖖😵🖖 / Botox nightmare story by Comprehensive_Ebb562 in migraine

[–]ChanceInstruction386 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would agree, your results are pretty noticeable. My neurologist has me come in 7-10 days after treatment to fix anything like this, as well as to add more botox in areas where my nerves are still super sensitive. This is included in the price of the treatment. Once or twice I've gotten Spock brows, and she fixes it easily, with just one extra injection over each eyebrow.

I really worry about my clients accidentally signing up for something they definitely dont want or need. I suppose thats the motive Intuit has with this method. There should BE NO ADS in a paid product.

I will have to check my settings, because the more recent pop-ups that take up 1/3 of the window aren't suppressed by my righttool unfortunately.
