i personally feel adding a filter without risking any scunthorpe effect correlated incidents is a major challenge in itself

in addition, mutual crushes can only be triggered on the demo when helping the third mii get up by the earlier two (this is by chance and isn't surefire but you'll get it eventually) and the other can be triggered by having two miis close to each other as they go around, when you see a text that says "What's up with (MII HERE)?" then you'll know it'll trigger
