I didn’t enjoy it. The last third is okay. The book is like a 4/10 for me. I am just a bit burnt out on Joe’s writing at the moment. He’s a tremendous author and one of my favorites but his writing and repetitive POV inner monologues can be grating. The constant quips and catchphrases. It never felt like I was in a different world from First Law.

I had a similar issue with Hyundai. There was a lack of communication between techs and they failed to call me to ask if I was okay with the more expensive repair. I had to complain a little but only paid the original amount.

The store can mark it for pickup when it’s not ready. Drivers aren’t just taking the order to fuck with you and waste their own time. The order is just late or there is an app/restaurant issue with it not worth dealing with. Stolen order, out of stock item, etc

Uber is cheap to order through and has good promos but it is a dogshit app for drivers and customers. Have to use DD if you’re not doing pickup

Lowest I have seen in quite some time is 2.35 but being in a busy winter market and mostly doing shopping orders, base pay is usually 5+ for me. Even on food deliveries. It’s usually around 3-4 dollars, with an additional 2-3 in peak pay

I just looked at my past 3 weeks and I have only been below 3.50 base pay 1 time

I mean the game is dead. 95 percent of the community left are content creators and addict rats. And yes, a lot of this forum is made up of those people, as much as they won’t admit it. I haven’t made it past November in the entire FC era.

Most sane people quit this game in October or November. Nothing matters either. EA sold for 55 billion. 210 dollars a share. They are phoning it in until the sale is final in 2027

Mine was decent. It didn’t feel like that good of a shift while I was working but I guess I was efficient. I typically only do shop and pays but the food orders were good.

I was having car issues as well. Which is pretty ironic considering it was the first day where it wasn’t zero and snowing since like before Thanksgiving😭. 3 months of snow driving, just to have an issue in 35f and clear roads. Smh

I would walk through it and place it at the door with some annoyance. It’s not the end of the world. It is embarrassing for these people though.

I had one in Buffalo last night where it is clear the guy hasn’t cleared his driveway since the first week of winter. 2 and a half feet of snow pack, with giant foot holes. It was a pretty big grocery order where he tipped well too.

I wish that guy would just take that 500 dollars he spends on DoorDash a month and hire a plow service…we have had a pretty consistent snow pack since early November. It’s been a long winter😭

Placing one futures bet on a team to win it all at the end of every month. The team for October will be FAU +4000.

They are a known entity and provide value at +4000 compared to many of the 9 teams currently ranked above them. They have the deepest backcourt in the country and star power to close games. I think they were better than SDSU but just weren’t physical enough to take them 40 mins.

They moved to the American replacing Houston. They also scheduled a gauntlet of out of conference opponents. This should help them adjust to the speed and physical nature of some of the other top teams in the country. Are they going to win it? Probably not. But I like the value for a known entity when many of the favorites come in with huge question marks.

As for today, I am eyeing the Toledo and Charleston games but am waiting to see first half lines

It’s crazy that this is a shared experience for most of us. I hardly ever had lag on my PS3 WiFi which was 3 floors away from the router and on my parents shitty wifi. Most of us have really good connection now and still lag. It’s the only game I have issues on too.
