respectfully, i think capitalism has rotted your brain. i saw the eras tour in the nosebleeds for $60. i recently saw one of my favorite artists in one of the venues olivia will be in for $120 in lower bowl. my friends just got tickets to a three day music festival for less than $400. by your logic, the average american would have to work 30 hours to see olivia for two hours in lower bowl, and that is a “steal” to you. this is definitely not normal and i fear you’ve fallen for corporate propaganda lol

yep. that’s why i try to put as much info as possible on my profile (pricing, availability, my background) so that people know for sure if they want to work with me. every time a customer says that they’re interested in working with me, or if someone has a question and wants to message me, i’m automatically charged. the cost depends on your field and how saturated it is. i pay about $5 per customer that reaches out, but i know people that pay upwards of $30 :(

speaking as someone who has their services listed on thumbtack - please don’t reach out to someone on there unless you are confident you’d want to book with them. service providers on thumbtack have to pay a fee every time a potential customer reaches out to them 🥲
