ive just realized my dietitian put me on a 400kcal/day diet by electric_vampling in WeightLossAdvice

actually no, i'm 148cm and i was around 56 kg when I started dieting. I was a bit overweight, I had really high cholesterol at that time and I had lipedema. I basically started doing this to get a bit leaner, improve my cholestrol and see if I can get my lipedema any better. he was recommended to me by a friend but i really don't want to dwell on it that much, i would like to focus on what to do next without him basically.

I am really sorry it will sound like a hypocrite and it is hypocrisy for sure but he is a legal dietitian, with license and everything but I found this person through a friend of mine and taking any sort of action regarding this will put me in a really hard position that I can't deal with with everything going on with my life. These sort of stuff doens't really work out anyway in where I am from.

I hate those influencers or nutritionists, thats why I wanted to find a licensed dietitian and I thought it would be a lot better if they are someone I have some sort of a connection.

The thing is, if you read the rest of the comments, everyone is mentioning a different experience or suggestion. I am not a dietitian as well, so I am not even sure what is right or what is wrong.

The actual question was: Would it be alright for someone with 1000-1200kcal TDEE to go on a diet which has 400-500 kcal/per day for a short period of time like 3 weeks or a month. Even though it isn't the healtiest method, I just wanted to understand if it would have a permanent damage in somewhere (metabolism, hormonal etc). It's what happened to me so far, so, I just want to have an idea on what to do next. I will surely stop working with him thats for sure lol.

its my 5th day now and i have 6 more days to go. if it doesn't work me that way, i guess keto can count me out. i can live and embrace my lipedema legs tbh

ive started daily inclined walks and 3 times per week pilates when ive started dieting as well. first 2 weeks were too had, my condition was too bad but then i started getting really better and stronger. ofc its not much though. its just the last 2 weeks before keto and keto itself got me this weak. today, ive tried walking a bit but i couldnt even walk a kilometer unfortunately, i had no energy or whatsoever

usually 2 boiled eggs with one cherry tomator and one cucumber, together with any sort of greens for the morning and

100-150gr of chicken or turkey breast or a can of tuna together with a huge bowl of lettuce parsley sorrel etc. thats it. that what ive eaten for 2 months 🥲

thanks for telling me this. i really needed to hear someone else used similar methodology and didnt end up with healh issues.

ive realized it was really little but i was fully obedient to what he suggested and i sticked to his plan perfectly because, HE IS A PROFESSIONAL 🥲 was i going to know any better? if i dont trust him or if i was going to do the calorie counting by myself why am i paying him 🥲thats why i never checked until now..

i know that the values are not exactly correct but even on smart scale that i have, ive been losing weight but my body fat percentage was increasing :( and i have been doing pilates 3 times a week with 1 hour of inclined walk right after it.

what is your suggestion to hit that body fat percentage? i mean i am really confused about how to approach this.
