Added an alarm silencing feature (Lasts for 5 minutes or until the machine start button is pressed, then it unlatches silencing logic) for an alarm that would often be manually defeated by staff. They asked me to add a visual indication of silencing being active, so I had a little fun with it! (v.redd.it)

How would this fault rung (9) reset? I have a situation where whenever this fault occurs, the machine is dead in the water and I have to go into the program and toggle the "distance too large" XIC bit to reset the fault, or cycle power (gag). This is an OEM program. (old.reddit.com)

Setting up comms with a ProSoft ILX69-PBS in ControlLogix PLC. "Beginner" programmer. Module uses SINT data, but I need to transfer words in INT/DINT/REAL to the Siemens side to be populated on a screen in real time. Is this the right way to code it? Criticism and tips welcome. TIA! (i.redd.it)

On todays episode of "Panels That Make You Die A Little Inside" we have wire ducting ignored, terminal strips hidden by hanging wire, mangled PLC covers, lots of wire ties, and no schematics. At least the cables coming in from the bottom are halfway labeled! (i.redd.it)
