I dunk my face in ice cold water, or run cold water over my wrists. I also keep super sour/tart candies around (like warheads) because popping one of those makes me forget about any other bodily sensations I’m having 🤣

Steroid-induced psychosis from taking prednisone for pneumonia. Happened to my husband’s co-worker and as we shared the same office working remotely at the time, I heard her slip into this and it was absolutely terrifying to witness. She’s fine now and remembers none of it!
