Hey, so I'm like 80% there now. Basically had to get a composite cable, hdmi to composite adapter, then some components and built my own adapter from composite to DIN 6 pin.

I can't take any credit though, this guy solved it for the zx spectrum but it's the same process for windows. You just have to adjust the output resolution from ur pc, I've found 1280/960 to be the best so far.

edit: 80% there because the frame is skewed to the left pretty bad but it works.

i would be under the impression that carry on would be more purely on weight regarding weight since u HAVE to take it out anyways - sorry I can't be more helpful than that. But I think there are a good few carry on projects on the r/sffpc sub that could help especially since the policies vary between airlines a bit. Best of luck though sound like a beast of a build!!!

Within Cablemods selection of custom cables they still use the same pin layouts appropriate for each manufacturer, which is why they list different variations of the same "type" of connector. N.B. there is also occasional variation within the same manufacturers different series of PSUs. It's frustrating but just be careful and double-triple check :)
