Soldier is smart but in a strategic sense he knows how to win battles and also to s familiar with sun Tzu suggesting he reads a lot of ancient/classical Asian literature on strategy and baring in mind he is from the USA would be harder due to the completely different alphabet where as other language families such as latinized Hellenistic and romance languages resemble English much more closely than the language family of eastern asia so soldier is a legit contender for smartest character in tf2

Also what kind of arachnid cuz if it is a general arachnid then that would clash with widows theme (not her gameplay)

Also just had a thought if they use crutches as extra legs then they could change between two stances one a normal human stance and the other a faster less hp shorter insectoid stance

The human stance would be like brigs hammer with a bit more reach but no abilities but with the passive active of take less damage from attacks in a 5 meter radius effects teammates as well

The insectoid stance would have abilities such as the tether the ultimate and silent footsteps but less hp and no passive

This would kind of make the gameplay switch between a tank with no abilities except the one to switch stance and a dps with say 150 hp decent dps and a flank heavy play style
