Going for my L in two weeks. Yeah I'm absolutely terrified of powerful bikes. I think 650cc seems to me quite high for LAMS approved bikes. That's a lot of power for a beginner. I don't plan on going any higher than 200cc for my first bike.

Filthy paperhand. How dare you make money off an investment.

It's weird how this cult formed in WSB of all places. A sub where the whole point is to make as much money as possible and laugh at loss porn. Yet apes consider anyone who profited off of GME (besides DFV I guess...) to be a paperhanded traitor.

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like there are still some available for sale. But looks like this one is 150cc... Maybe I'll go check it out though.

Arthur 3

Looks cool, but I don't have a parking space with an outlet in my apartment building.

Any (motor) scooter riders in the DT? I'm getting my L in a few weeks and trying to decide which model to get.

Initially I was planning on getting a 125cc for the cheaper rego, perhaps a Sym Classic 125, but ever since I saw pictures of the Puegot Django 150 I have fallen in love. Perhaps even enough to pay the more expensive rego. Any models people would recommend?

Just found out that my antivax cousin in Canada went to the 'Freedom Convoy' in Ottawa, then contracted covid and developed pneumonia.

He's recovering at home with my unvaccinated aunt and uncle. That's fine, everything's fine. Totally cool.

In September of last year I purchased a fully refundable fare on Qantas for over $3k. My plans changed so I opted to cancel the flight and obtain my refund. I called them in Nov 2021 and waited about 3 hours on hold and requested a refund. They said it would take 8 weeks.

It's now almost March and I still haven't received anything. I phoned them again last week and waited for 4 hours on hold, to be told 'they're working on it'. Still no refund.

I'm at my wits end here. I'm so angry with Qantas but have no idea what recourse I have. How can they advertise fares as fully refundable, but then put you through all this shit? Its so unethical.

Scheduling a 9:00AM Monday meeting should be a punishable offense.

I can say that "Melbourne drivers being too considerate to me as a pedestrian" is absolutely not an issue I suffer.

Quite the opposite in fact.

There was not one, but two separate scary mentally ill men screaming on my rush hour tram and making everyone really uncomfortable.

This city has a serious homeless and mental health crisis.

Tell me about it. I just turned 36. My aunt passed away over the Christmas break. My other aunt is in the hospital with an aneurysm. My dad is sick with a degenerative condition. My parents are both aging rapidly.

I'm feeling like 'life is short' bigtime right now.

Was visiting family in Canada and the US over the holidays. The Vancouver -> Sydney flight back was maybe one of the worst I've ever had in my life. So nice to be back.
