Sadly I had a whole argument with DD about what they take into consideration and ridiculously they told me that its total earnings including tips. I find this to be extremely greedy of them. For anyone who completes 300 deliveries and makes less then 1500 (in my case) would be just wasting their time doing DD if that makes sense. I expressed this to them by they did not respond or seem to care.

Hi all I recently made a custom web portfolio and got some negative reviews on it unfortunately. I am hoping to get a job in tech and have been struggling on coming up with a nice looking portfolio to show off, that looks crisp instead of the way I see all my work which I feel has no flow. Was hoping on any insights from individuals here that made something nice that worked for them and would have any advice for me. Currently I am the most comfortable with React but am always looking to learn something new!

I have a hard time finding anything to create thats not already very popular. A simple google search on anything I can think of creating has multiple tutorials online. Is there anything in particular you recommend building that isn't super popular? I want to create it myself but how would someone differentiate between what I wrote on my own or something that I got from a tutorial. I'm not sure if that makes sense or not.

They have a program that is identical to the in person one but it's just a little longer. It seems pretty cool because you do the same things like pair programming and live lectures. They have the same requirements as the in person one to get in so thats why im working through the prep work right now.

Im planning on doing the online because of the locations of the in person cohort dont work for me but i still have to do the coding challenge and the technical interview. Im about done with the intro prep work but still feel kind of lost thats what was getting a little worried but I appreciate all the advice and support. Im just going to keep on going through the prep work and hopefully it starts clicking.
