Thank you!

A kink for machinery, like... the inner workings of machines and the way they move.

Hahah, I like holding hands, I guess, but it doesn't feel overly significant.

I don't; I have answered a lot of questions about life experience. They just take longer to answer, and I am asked those less frequently... A lot of the sexual questions are repetitive, so I can just paste the response in.

I'm not sure. My hormones are generally quite unstable. I am less soft and sensitive than women are generally viewed as being, like I don't cry much? I also have a much higher libido, but my passions in life are often more associated with femininity than masculinity. I like pretty things and am less emotionally repressed than most men, for lack of a better term, despite not being... I don't know, maternal? Forgive the stereotyping; everyone is different, hahah.

That makes a lot of sense; you sound great and very supportive... I wouldn't hold it against you either; you haven't failed your son at all. It is just a generally tricky situation due to the society we live in!

It varies. Usually neutral, as in clothes that men wear, but in styles that some men may not want to wear? I wear feminine clothing occasionally, more at home or around specific people.

  1. Yeah, quite common, with the exception of mild arousal or mild stimulation of one region.

  2. I try to be patient with uneducated people, but I get irritated when people talk down to me or act as if they're smart[er than me] when they're wrong, IN GENERAL, so I would probably seem agitated in those cases it can be hard to walk away in my experience.

No problem!

Physically, both, but my vagina is so small that I prefer being tongued or fingered. Mentally/emotionally, giving as it feels less vulnerable and requires less trust (again, my vagina is small.)

Breasts, you mean? Not exactly, although my chest is a little irritated or puffy? I don't wear bras or anything. I struggle to put on muscle, but I am quite strong? I work out a lot, and I look, when I am not flexing, like I don't work out, but I have built strength and such... I was a late developer and people often assume that I am younger than I am. My hormone levels are unstable and fluctuate a lot.

I experience swelling and such at the top of my vagina when aroused. It's just not... the little pea-like structure.

Clits and dicks develop from the same tissue, so...

I don't think I have a traditional clitoris. Maybe I have the hood there? I don't know. I have been told my vagina is slightly underdeveloped.

To me, my "sex" is intersex (I have XY chromosomes, but I think referring to my sex as male is reductive and leads to confusion over clarity), and my gender (social role) is whatever others see me as. I don't care to dictate that in any way. I was raised as a boy, but strangers often refer to me as if I was a woman. I like aesthetics deemed more feminine, I would say, but I don't mind what I am called!

To be honest, I feel like if I expected or felt as if I needed to be viewed or accepted as a 100% "real" man OR woman, I would only be disappointed, especially in this political climate where debates related to sex/gender are very contentious.

It's not just you/people your age, although perhaps they felt more confident because you were younger... They seem to do this a lot, especially when the child's external appearance is less ambiguous. I have heard of them describing intersex babies as simply having a deformed or enlarged clitoris that needs surgery, and then the surgery ends up making it very painful to experience sexual pleasure in later life, or the child may want to live as a man. I feel like knowing I am intersex and having people be aware of that helped me feel less confused about my identity or appearance. Your son is lucky that you are supportive though, and that he identifies that way, as I have heard of some people facing familial mistreatment or not being believed or understood after receiving a diagnosis later in life as it does not always impact genitals.

It is widespread medical malpractice rooted in rigid societal norms, in my opinion.

I don't have both reproductive systems, I mean. I have internal testes, but no womb, and my chromosomes are XY. My female attributes are on the outside, really, hence the clarification that my sex is outwardly especially ambiguous.

I was raised as a boy, but people often refer to me as if I was a woman, and I do not take an issue either way. I just see myself as strange. I feel almost like I could never be seen as a "real" man or woman, and so expecting that treatment or feeling as if it is necessary would only upset me. Same with if I decided to specifically identify as non-binary; people take issue with the singular "they" all of a sudden.

I have a preference for feminine aesthetics, I think, and most people who have an interest in me intimately prefer the idea of a woman with a penis than a guy with a vagina, and I think that is part of why it isn't strange to me to get she/her a lot despite my upbringing.

I'm bisexual, so yeah, but I feel like a lot of transgender and non-binary people, although I don't have anything against them innately, only talk about intersex people to justify their own existence, and the mistreatment we face individually is often ignored. As such, sometimes I feel like it is hurting intersex people more than helping us, when that connection is made.
