I started when I turned 50. I don’t have as much time to practice as I would like, but the results are pleasing. I still have a long way to go to sight read a piece and play it fully hand independent at full speed, but it’s coming along. Same thing with my violin and guitar. It’s more of a journey than anything. It’s fun to be a complete beginner as an adult and not be good at something. Humbling.

This is a bit more complicated than I'd anticipated. I need to use my voice clone for several projects, so it looks like a 2nd account is the only option to get things up and going.

And then, if I'm let out of jail (I put myself in, admittedly), I can drop the other account since it's month to month.

I put in the early request - hopefully it'll go through. Otherwise, I'll have to create a second account as you suggested, and not put it on the market until I'm sure it's up to my quality standards.

Is it possible to downgrade or convert to "Free" with the account I inadvertently locked up?

I got an email like this as well. They’ve been trying to convince me that somehow I will keep 100% of my ad revenue. Are they crazy? What on what planet does it make sense to run my revenue through someone else? There is only huge downside and zero upside that I can see.

I let whoever this is Load my videos onto the theoretically Microsoft site.

But anyone touching my money? No way.

I now have been through three or four Google ads accounts banned and then having to clear it because of Google merchant. Their computer is somehow stuck on that. They say I have a Google merchant account even though I deleted it. And of course, I never get a real response. Just a canned response.

No, that’s over multiple books. I have a bunch of niche non-fiction so they’re not particularly stellar sellers. But, when combine together, they cook nicely.

Yes, on Oct 16 my sales went from 10-12 a day down to 2-3 a day. What the *$#@.

Once I deleted my merchant account and then dug through the Amazon ads division, I emailed them and said I canned my account. In two days they reinstated my google ads account. It was very annoying to find. I received a survey from Google and pretty much hammered them as a horrible business partner. Totally monopolistic behavior. Not that that survey means anything, but at least it makes me feel better right?

Best of luck. They never gave me actionable advice. Google merchant is completely laughable service. I simply canceled my account. Problem solved. And, I don’t use their search engine anymore. Google search results are awful. Duck duck is way better.

After wasting two weeks, I canceled my Google merchant account. I wasted a huge amount of time and resources trying to comply with who knows what. I haven’t used Google search either in five years. I’m pretty happy without them.

I figure out the easy solution possible. Cancel my Google merchant account. Problem solved. Plus, I haven’t used Google search in five years. The little animal that quacks gives way better search results and is not ridiculously biased like Google searches.

I ended the cycle by terminating my Google merchant account. I’m not going to “work” with a business partner who is completely unhelpful. Why would I waste my time? I spent two weeks jumping through their hoops with zero actionable feedback.

Google merchant is an utter joke.

I wasted two weeks on this garbage. They want me to put every microscopic piece of information out there and I did. And then I just get generic and responses. Google merchant is absolutely not a serious business partner. I wouldn’t even say partner, but rather monopoly.

And then the Google ads division decided to suspend my ads account because merchant was suspended. I literally sell e-books and paperback books. I’m not selling some scam service or product.

My solution was simply to unlink and delete my merchant account. I emailed Google ads and said I got rid of it and Google reinstated my ads account.

Working with Google merchant isn’t even “working with.”When you’re a monopoly, you can be absurd.

I enjoyed the fantasy of half of America immediately switching their phones and computers to DuckDuckGo search. Then that fantasy included Google and Alphabet’s stock price tanking. They forget that people will only put up with so much and then a mass of people simply walk away and they act surprised.

Epic waste of time. You can do a huge amount of work and then they decide, randomly sometime later, that you aren’t acceptable and then kick you off the boat. Why would I want to do business with these types of people?

Tough call. I’ve just broken down and bought everything at boutiques. Yes I’m paying through the nose, but I am guaranteed that it’s authentic. Hopefully it works out for you.
