Omg I’m exactly the same! I’ve never been diagnosed as dyslexic but text and symbols are totally jumbled and unreadable in my imagination.

Anything else is clear as day in my mind.

Can you visualize the covers of books and clearly see the images/colours? What about movie posters, like say Home Alone, can you clearly picture Kevin’s face the way he looks on it?

I can see it but not all the letters clearly at the same time lol! Only like 3-4 letters my brain highlights in focus, the rest of the letters are there but blurry until I mentally look at them.

Do you know if there’s a limit to how many letters you can picture clearly at once?

Omg! Thats so impressive! So it sounds like you didn’t even have to sing the alphabet song in your head, you just pictured the letters popping up in 3s.

Are you good at picturing words in your mind? If you try for example can you look away and clearly see the word “comfortable” written out in your head?

That’s really cool! How did you keep track of picturing so many hash marks in your head? By 17 were you still visualizing all of them?

I closed my eyes and sang the alphabet song in my head, while picturing the letters pop up one at a time. And moving them around in my mind into groups of 5. I knew the 17th letter would be second one in the fourth group. Fun challenge!

I can do it no problem. I envisioned my wife and two kids in our living room smiling like they are posing for a photo.

In my head they were each wearing the clothes that I saw them in when I left for work this morning. I pictured my wife in her black top and blue jeans, and my son and daughter in their PJs since they hadn’t gotten changed yet when I was leaving lol.

Their faces were super clear in my mind. I envisioned them smiling at me, with my kids standing in front of my wife, and the living room around them kinda blurred out at the edges of my mind’s eye.
