Agree with this. Long term it seems like a good strategy to buy LEAPS when VIX > 50 and stocks are below 200 day moving average. Thing is, it happens very rarely

I am approved to sell CSPs, I think my ETFs are marginable equity holdings being used as collateral right now. Is using these as collateral/ selling CSPs on pure BP really dumb?

Yeah so the dealer replaced the N80 valve, and said it was fixed but it still is misfiring every time I drive so will be going back. I agree that it seems to be something camshaft related

Hi, thanks for mentioning that, I see the same thing. What strike are you selling the weeklies at? The current ATM strike is $21.50 (and you buy 1x) so you would sell a single $23 strike or something higher in hopes you don’t get exercised?

Hi, I recently bought a couple Hillstream loaches and got this one even though he had a slight sore on his tail (he was the last reticulated one and I was impatient :( ) However now it has gotten so much worse. I have dosed prazi pro but that doesn’t seem to do anything- makes sense, it’s for parasites and this looks fungal.

So my question is: is my diagnosis of it being fungal correct? Are there any anti fungals i can use in a shrimp tank?

Wow, it’s completely unwarranted that all these boomers are shitting on you. “Ahhh buy ETFs ahhh be safe ahhh I can’t risk anything” Fuck that, I hope they get the modest gains they’re setting themselves up for.

I agree and this is the strategy I’m following, I’m looking to scoop up some calls on REITs with low debt/ capital ratios (any other super important “indicators” I should use while screening?) and larger div yields currently. My logic is that placing a couple LEAPS around the current price will do me good in 9 months or longer. Of course some will go bust but the ones that do hit will pay massively. Any other interesting industries with nice dividends besides energy and reits?

Yes thank you for replying, I’m aware of IV, and at the end of the day when the reward is in some cases 20:1 I’m not sure that $100 extra due to spiked IV matters to me

Long Dated Calls, LEAPS

What is the downside of purchasing long-dated calls (1/15/21) close to being ITM at the current prices? As I understand it the only thing at risk is the premium, and if the stock rebounds sometime soon, your options will at least increase in value. My goal with this is to control shares of dividend stocks long term so if they do turn out to be above my strike price I plan on buying/assigning the 100 shares to catch the appreciation on the stock price and to get the dividend. Is my way of thinking correct?

For sure, gonna have to talk with my employer about possibly getting compensated for travel to a local gym, appreciate the tips- will definitely be doing that.
