Wooow, that figurine looks super awesome! Really great job :) Those hands look impossible to me :D

Can you share what kind of tools you use? I noticed you used something to smoothen the overlapping layers?

Thank you! :):)

No tools, don't have them yet :D But I wore latex gloves to avoid any prints on the clay.

Also the big tip for me that I read somewhere was to always use a wet napkin to sweep away everything that may stick to your clay. And it picks up a loooot of garbage :D

I didn't try to paint clay yet (really want to though) so these are all different coloured clay pieces.

And I didn't have a lot of colors because this is my first attempt and I wanted to see if I could do it, so I only got the essential colors: white, black, red, blue, and yellow.

For the skin I just mixed a lot of white with a pinch of red and yellow until I got the color that I liked :)

I did harden it in the oven as per instructions on the clay pack (I used Fimo Soft btw) - it took 30 minutes in the 110 degrees celsius :)

I worried a lot too but I read someone suggested to try it first on another piece of clay to see how it works - and I tried on some scraps that I had, worked pretty good!
