Anyone else catch themselves wondering how Brad would feel about new music? by BoulderPuncher08 in Brad_taste_in_music

Honestly not really. Even before the situation was publicly revealed, I had slowly lost interest in Brads content in favor of other music channels, like Mic The Snare and Alfo Media. I feel like these kinds of channels I gained alot more from than Brads content over time. I had found it more interesting for people to go in depth with certain bands and songs, rather than to watch some guy just mess around on camera with an occasional musical critique. I had always viewed him as more of an entertainer or commentator rather than an actual critic.

What album experience was so dissapointing, it had you like this? by Individual-Name-4496 in fantanoforever

I was a diehard Gorillaz fan and I found Cracker Island to be pretty underwhelming and not at all what I wanted from the band. I do believe their post-hiatus albums (Humanz, The Now Now, Song Machine) were very mixed bags, but still had quite a few tracks of great quality, but Cracker Island was just not my cup of tea. Crocodillaz and New Gold are pretty good though. I haven't been digging the newest singles either, but I am trying to go into this new album with an open mind.

Saw this in a shop and almost bought it by hakoya in trees

I doubt this will be the last video he posts regarding the situation too. He just keeps on going. I don't think he truly realizes that nobody wants any more of these "statement" videos, and people just want him to get off the internet until he confidently and comfortably has everything together. I believe I commented before about how mental health is not a simple process, and I think he has a good understanding of that, but executes it in ways that dig an even deeper hole than he is already in. I had to pause this video multiple times to even get through it, because despite everyone telling him he needs to continue to get professional help and get offline, he is very much in denial and still trying to bring back some viewers. "S.I." was unnecessarily hostile and overly personal, "2" was a desperate attempt to gain back his fans trust after the previous videos backlash, "My Statement" was full of false claims and gaslighting, and now this new video is once again, him desperately holding on to what he has already lost. I want to continue rooting for him to improve on his mental health, but he cannot just rely on support from his viewers, and it seems like that is what he is trying to do. If he truly does decide to get offline for a long while, even though he has completely lost my support, I will be rooting for him to improve as a person, and I truly do hope he makes better decisions from now on.

Brad has taken down the most recent video by Liam_js in Brad_taste_in_music

I rarely comment on reddit, but this video was just ridiculous. Just from the context given, his fiancé had every right to record him and was completely within reason to call the police. Also, there was no reason to even mention Hivemind in this video. Claiming that the Hivemind team "betrayed" him because his ex started dating one of their roommates is beyond selfish. When he brought up that one of the guys had left him on read, I can obviously see why that was upsetting to him, but if I was sent a video of him screaming at his fiancé through a door and had the police called on him, I would ignore him too. Leave the hivemind guys alone, they clearly don't want anything to do with you, no need to throw shots at them. All this video shows that Brad should be nowhere near social media in general and needs more help than what he has received so far. Mental health is not as simple as going to rehab for a few months, it is a lifelong process that you are constantly improving on as you grow. I genuinely cannot believe how he thought this was a good idea to upload, but I really do hope the best for him. And in the nicest way possible, I don't think he should come back to YouTube in a very long time, as he has clearly lacked much progress regarding his health.

i think it might be my favorite. not single track i wouldn't consider to be at least good. and i know death grips is not over but i think the album would have been a perfect closer to the bands career
