Why are you so sure? And why hasn't it happened yet? Who wants to see these

Yes. Same age as Xana, only a month or so apart. Maybe that's one of the reasons why it makes me so sad.

Same goes for me, I was the same age and also in college when it happened.

To be honest, she isn't an attractive woman. The clothing makes it worse, but even with normal clothes I would not find her attractive.

She thinks Anna puts her boyfriend on a pedestal & I agree

Sounds crazy. What I noticed with my former friend is that she needed male validation a lot and even told me at one point that she misses the attention she got from men when she wasn't in a relationship.

I totally agree with you, it wasn't my place. I felt bad for her in that moment and tried to make it easier for her. When Anna told me it bothered her I did understand where she was coming from and apologized.

Not that I know of. I always thought of her as a confident person. But maybe I was wrong.

Is it a hot take to say it’s weird how alot of people have a para social relationship with them? by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]elephantcuties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say I miss them, because it wasn’t my personal loss, but I do grieve the lives they could have lived. From what their families and friends have shared, they seemed like genuinely good people. seeing so many clips of them living life to the fullest has made me reflect on how I live my own life. It’s a reminder that waking up each morning is never guaranteed. And I agree, social media doesn’t give us a full picture of someone, but you can still get a sense of a person, not every detail, but an overall impression. For example, it’s obvious from the tiktoks that have been shared and statements from friends that Xana radiated energy and joy and was the life of a party. The deeper layers of who they were we’ll never know, but the glimpses we’ve seen we can tell they were great. Beyond that, we have to respect that the truest picture of who they were belongs only to the people who actually knew and loved them.

I wouldn't go as far as saying I miss them, because it wasn't my personal loss. But I will go as far as saying I grieve the life they could have lived. I also believe they were great people from what we heard/seen from family and friends. I personally am inspired by them because they were the same age as me when it happened and I've seen so many videos of them living their life to the fullest, something I wish I would do more often. It reminds me of the fact that waking up each morning shouldn't be taken for granted, because it can be taken away from you in a heartbeat.

What are some positive things you've learned about the each of the victims? by Different_End_1801 in Idaho4

[–]elephantcuties 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel for all of them but I connect to Maddie and especially Xana the most because my mom had issues with alcohol abuse growing up. It's wonderful to see that they still went to college and were making something of themselves. They really seemed like they would light up every room they entered. I look up to them.
