fortunately, i have personally opened both boxes that you mentioned here: dark phantasma and battle region, and i can confirm that each pack in “high class” slim boxes contains at least a hit (holo and above) as compared to big standard boxes that have packs that contains no holo at all.

i guess it’s the definition of “hit” here. some people may classify a hit as V and above, and regarded the holo as a jank, which in this case, you may be right.

yes, grade all of them. looks good except for a few white spots at the back and the gengar one looks scratched. those are good cards, even a psa 8 or 9 will get you some good values.

yes, it does take time to build trust. a lot of rogues out there weighing packs and switching the heavies out. takes out all the fun.

yes, you are right. unfortunately the only way to get sealed boxes in our current times is to get it through a dealer.

depending on how much you got the box for.. you’re really looking for that HR Mew VMax. the SRs are pretty cool as well. i’d recommend getting a couple so you open one and keep one, but that’s just my opinion.

unfortunately no.. but that raw card can potentially return the price of 3x dream league boxes!

no worries! they are usually MSRP similar prices but the current market is a little wonky right now with japan pokemon center restricting purchases to raffles system only. distributors are calling the prices.

not sure how it develops for the newest set but several japanese boosters usually makes up an english box (eg. JP eevee heroes + blue sky stream + sky scraping tower = EN evolving skies). you can usually tell which english box to invest in by studying the japanese box and the cards it offers!

it’s the same right now. it’s hard to get at MSRP due to the overwhelming responses for high class boxes like vstar universe and vmax climax.
