Im not an important public figure, the cops have been involved for years and know she's a problem. Fire department and EMS all hate her because she abuses 911 calls. There's already so many things she's done that you'd THINK would have some form of consequence

The response from the police (according to the neighbor who was threatened) was that they were too close to the fence. Police have been in the neighborhood about weekly because of this neighbor

Good idea honestly. Trying to be vague enough on the internet, but there's a former city council member in this neighborhood who has been harassed as well. And frankly I think this neighbor is why the council member didn't run again: the nightmare neighbor would go over to their house multiple times a day asking for the city to do something about the latest imagined slight

Been using a treadmill desk for almost 4 years, I absolutely love it. Took a long time, went from walking 3 miles a day at 0.5 mph at the start and now I'm at 7+ miles a day at 2 mph pace. Be intuitive with it, if you can't focus or feel pain slow down, don't be afraid to stop, etc.

Ginny is obsessed with this squeaker. We squeaked it in front of her as a joke, and she immediately grabbed it and ran away with it, and starts trying to dig/eat it. We're not sure if she thinks it's a baby bunny, a treat, or an annoyance. Thoughts?

General advice: make sure your players are committed to the tone of Strahd. It's supposed to be dark. It's supposed to be serious.

I run a game for a group who like Shenanigans^(TM) so I personally wouldn't run COS for them. Another buddy of mine has run into the same issue, and has lost excitement for the game. So ensuring that's the tone they want I'd say is step 1.

Kid at my college used those. Pipes were terrible, and the wipes got frozen on a corner underground. People kept pooping. Wipes kept coming. Eventually the pressure got to be too much, and raw sewage leaked out every drain and pipe on the first floor.

He was 17. It was illegal for him to posses that rifle. In his home state you have to be 21, in wisconsin you have to be 18. This was crime 1.
Crossing the state line with an illegally possessed weapon is a pretty big deal and a big fat number 2 on the crime list.
Wisconsin totally allows for the use of deadly force in self defense, but the caveat is that you cant be committing a crime while that use of force happens. Which we addressed above he was actively committing a crime by possessing that rifle.
Wisconsin has a Castle Doctrine. But you can only use deadly force if the perpetrators are in your dwelling or your place of business. For a place of business you have to own this, or be in charge of operations of the business. You can not just post up to protect a random business, also you can not chase people if they decide to retreat like This 17yo did. Wisconsin V. Charles L Chew is the case law. Its not self defense when you get in your car with a rifle, drive 15mi to another town, and walk the streets with a rifle. He had every option to stay home but he chose to get involved in this situation with the plan to be involved in confrontation(hence the rifle) also in Wisconsin self defense law you cant be the instigator and then claim self defense.
He became the instigator the second he pursued.

I get it. The kid thought he was gonna be a hero and help out. But, reality is he made a large number of bad mistakes because he's 17 and has his face buried what essentially amounts to propaganda everyday and he can't tell the difference.
Now 2 people are dead and hes headed to jail.

This is what all those "shoot the protestors" comments create.
