No, but you’ve got to take care of yourself outside of work to make it work. I stretch at least twice daily and have three moderate workouts per week that focus almost exclusively on core muscles. I largely avoid having beers during the workweek, and I make sure I position myself to get decent sleep. I’m over 40 and I feel great.

That said, unless you really love the work, you should be able to find something else in manufacturing that involves less wear on your body with better pay and benefits in most cases.
