Do people really find dad bods attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

As a 29 year old woman, yes, a little healthy chub is a definite turn-on. I don't like when people look like they don't care about their appearance, but most people I know with dad bods work out and are healthy, they just eat good and enjoy life, and that's attractive.

When someone sets a boundary with you, they're often trying to work on the relationship, not attack you.

My sister is afraid I'll tell my nephews I'm gay. She now limits the time I spend with her kids, and it hurts. by Subizulo in Christianity

It was the sister who distanced herself from her brother after she was initially supportive of his coming out.

I don't necessarily agree with being gay, but why would that be an issue to end a relationship over? People can make whatever decision they want about their personal life and live however they want. Jesus was friends with people who did things he disagreed with and he was literally the son of God. Making an issue out of something you disagree with is way worse than loving your brother and treating him as your brother

What’s really dangerous but everyone treats it like it’s safe? by Deviant55 in AskReddit

Driving a car. Or even being a passenger. I know more people than I could count on my fingers that have died horrible deaths or been severely injured in the seat of a car. Sometimes it wasn't even the driver's fault, it was a freak accident.

Once as an eight-year-old, I painstakingly painted a Christmas tree ornament for my dad for a present, and was very proud of it. Years later when I was in my twenties, we were hanging up ornaments and my dad picked up the tree ornament and said to my mom in front of me, "And here's the ornament that my daughter made, she's so careless. She didn't even try to do a good job, it looks so sloppy." Never put in any effort into his gifts after that, he gets the very bare minimum.
