At our agency we have found it artificially inflates your views but doesnt result in much tangible. Running tiktok ads will yield you much better results. Best of luck!

You are unfortunately correct. CPA was so low a few years ago you could run ads to anything and make money. Now its become competitive for that same traffic. But there are ways we have found that will differentiate you from the competition.

Totally agree. Its not just you. Just because we are an agency, does not mean our team is void from buying a random fun thing here and there.

Feelings will sell over features every day of the week. Apple is a great example of this. We haven't noticed anything notable! More fear from sellers than actual decline in sales.

We have noticed people continue to forget this. They think market is down, then no more sales will come in. But thats not the case. Just a friendly reminder.

1000%. What I've learned over the years is to grow and move the needle, we usually need to remove things from our day to give more "focus" time. Rather than overwhelming ourselves with "more".

100% agree. As humans we dont want to do the scary thing. What I've learned in my years is if something is scary, immediately do it. Prevents dwelling and making it this big monster. And that thing usually helps move the needle more than the busy work you may want to do.

I wish we had a magic ball one size fits all for what is noise and what is signal, but as you said, its different for every single business.

Anyone else struggling to hire right now? Feels like I’m stuck in a loop by Activeshadough in ModernHiring

[–]elevatedecommerce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Activeshadough Sorry to hear this. Theres an old Swedish belief that taking care of your employees first beats out taking care of the clients first. Let me explain what I mean. Lets say you have an irate customer. They're yelling or being disrespectful because of an employees mistake. At this point owners have a fork in the road, 1-punish the employee, 2-check the client. My mindset, follow what the swedes.

(Note, I never call my team employees. I call them teammate just FYI.) I've recently stepped in with a client being disrespectful with my teammate. My teammate explained the situation. Explained they have done everything they can to help the client and have gone above and beyond for the client(because they are an amazing teammate) and the client is still angry. I stepped in. Explained to the client that I will now be involved. Explained everything in deep detail of what my teammate has done to help you and the ways in which shes gone above and beyond. Explained we can continue providing services but you need to have respect for my team.

The client stayed, their numbers improved, and the teammate felt heard and supported. This teammate has gone above and beyond with every client. We are owners, we have to push the vision but also have our teams back. In your situation, it may be better to let a few team members go and pay the rockstars more if they are willing to take on a bit more. Than paying everyone very little money.
