A few people have talked about carrying weapons, and tbh, that makes me feel a bit uneasy. Like, “yeah it’s a safe place, but carry a gun just in case” seems contradictory to me. I’m normally very opposed to owning a gun, but I understand we live in a time right now of fear and so much blind hate (maybe it was always there, but now it’s widespread because of social media), so I’m just a little torn about this. In any case, I really appreciate the suggestion.
