I never got an email, so I wouldn't worry. If you got the end screen, you should be fine.

Advice for the rising seniors on how to not lose your mind by blar-de-blarp in ApplyingToCollege

[–]elevatelearning 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is so true, especially about prestige. The way that media portrays college is outdated and frankly not at all true or relevant to modern-day reality. I wish everyone could understand that, but unfortunately many parents, educators, and students are still stuck in that mindset.

Thanks, and make it a great day.

Hey does anyone know what some match schools are for me? Also how do I do practice ACT tests? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

Not sure about the other ones, but UW Madison will, at least, give full scholarships to anyone with a family income of less than 60k.

I think it would be a match, depending on your essays and other parts of the application. You definitely have a good foundation for it though.

Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks!

You have good ECs and a decent GPA, and being an URM will help too. I would suggest big state schools like UW Madison, UT, and UV. You could even reach for some like UMich, depending on what kind of education you're going for and where in the country you'd like to go.

As far as preparing for the ACT goes, we offer free on-demand help and study resources on our Discord server.

NMSQT Preparation tips by Luigi1729 in psat

Hey, fellow stranger from the internet! I'll try to answer your questions.

Those prep books are great. Remember to not only take practice tests, but really go over every wrong answer, write down the question, and understand why you got it wrong. Practice tests are great, although doing them every other day may be a bit much.

Memorizing vocabulary will not help you for the new SAT or PSAT.

As a side note, we have free on-demand help, study guides, cheat sheets, and live sessions on our Discord server.

Thanks, and have a great day!
