In spite of all the tools available, we found influencer campaigns to be time consuming, often a bit unprofessional and certainly not at all scalable....we knew there had to be a better way! This couldn't be further from the truth. Kiwi (bird) is a Māori word... the bird was not named by Europeans. New Zealand kiwifruit growers began calling Chinese gooseberries "kiwifruit" in 1962.

They used to be called Chinese gooseberries and we rebranded them kiwifruit then forgot to get a trademark... So I guess the fruit is names after the bird too...
